What started as a small hobby in a nursing home has grown into a colorful bracelet shop loved by friends, family, and now — the world. 💛
Our founder, Beatrix “Bea” Clark, began making bracelets in her nursing home as a calming, creative pastime. What started as something simple and therapeutic quickly became her passion. She fell in love with picking out beads at Hobby Lobby, choosing her favorite colors, and turning them into bracelets that made everyone around her smile.
Soon, our whole family wanted to help bring her creations to life.
Bea carefully selects every bead and hand-strings each bracelet with love.
Her daughter, Dawn, helps share Bea’s creations within our local community.
And her granddaughter, Katherine, manages the sales, branding, photography, and storytelling that help Bea’s Beads reach new homes every day.
Every bracelet is a little piece of our family — full of color, joy, and the love we share for handmade creations.
Bea’s Beads is deeply connected to our family’s history — a history shaped by creativity, love, and resilience.
Our family has faced Alzheimer’s and dementia more than once.
Beatrix’s husband, our Poppie, passed away from Dementia.
Both of Katherine’s other grandparents also lived with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Today, Beatrix continues to inspire us as she faces liver cancer with grace, strength, and the same warmth she’s always shared with everyone around her.
What started as a simple hobby in her nursing home turned into a meaningful part of her daily life… and soon became something our whole family wanted to share.
And this is why giving back is at the heart of our mission.
Because Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Liver Cancer have deeply touched our family, we donate 5% of all proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association and the American Liver Foundation — two causes forever close to us.
Every bracelet Bea makes carries a piece of her joy, her strength, and the love of the family cheering her on.
